Construction workers were on a job site in Canary Wharf, London when they heard frantic cries coming from nearby. The howling sounded like a puppy’s and they set about recuing it. When they found the crying creature it was at the bottom of a hole, caked from head to toe in mud and strips of plastic. Workers were able to pull the small creature and was sent to a local recue center. When they began cleaning it they were shocked!
Upon closer inspection, they weren’t really sure what kind of animal they were looking at, especially because it was covered in so much filth. The workers called up the Essex Wildlife Hospital for backup.
